Meet Sam

Hi, I'm Sam — your sitter.

I've been walking and sitting for Brighton dogs and cats for the last seven years. I grew up with a working cocker called Otto, so I know the difference between a 'tired dog' and a 'still got beans' dog.

Every pet gets a free meet & greet before we start, a written care plan, and daily photo updates whenever I'm with them. You'll always know what your pet is up to.

FAQ

The questions every pet parent asks.

What if my pet has medication?
We're happy to administer oral, topical and injectable medications including insulin. Just let us know during the meet & greet and bring it up on the care plan.
Will you hold a key to my home?
Only if you want us to. Most clients use a coded key safe instead, or hand over keys for the duration of the booking and we return them afterwards.
What if my dog isn't great with other dogs?
No worries. We default to solo walks for reactive, anxious or older dogs, and there's no judgement — many of our regulars prefer it.
Do you cover emergencies and vet trips?
Yes. If anything looks off, we'll contact you first and your registered vet second. We can transport pets to the vet at no extra cost in an emergency.
How do I pay?
We invoice weekly by email. Bank transfer or card. No upfront deposits, no cancellation fees with more than 24 hours' notice.
